The Brainmax

Is an inexpensive N.E.T., Neuro Electric Therapy or C.E.S. Cranial Electrical Stimulation, device. Which I developed and now sell for $249.00.

Neuro Electric Therapy (N.E.T.) is a system developed in the mid to late 20th century. Initially for curing drug and alcohol addiction.

It stimulates the brain using small pulses of electricity. The initial machine I developed was similar to Meg Patterson's NET (neuro electric therapy) device which she almost exclusively used to cure drug addiction. Her practice included lots of famous celebrities such as Pete Townsend of heroin addiction. It's 80% cure rate far exceeds amy other known therapy.

However, N.E.T./C.E.S. is better when used on people who have already quit and gone through the initial chronic withdrawal phase. These people are still very unbalanced and low in certain neurotransmitters. When used in these conditions the machine can essentially give a person two years of sobriety in two weeks time. By that I mean their thinking calms down, craving go away or are reduced to the level that a person with two years of sobriety experiences, etc.

The way NET/CES works is very simple.

The production and release of various brain neuro chemicals are often suppressed by excessive drug use or stress, etc. Some people have low levels of neuro chemicals to begin with and that often draws a person into drug use in the first place). These neurochemical include endorphins, dopamine, GABA, etc. Certain frequencies of electrical pulses set up resonances which stimulate the production and release of these various neurochemicals. NET machines in effect exercise these neurochemical systems and bring them back to normal. Nothing else can.

The initial machine that I developed had dials which controlled the frequency and the amplitude. It looked a lot like the Third Eye machine but was a little bit simpler. It was OK for professionals but for home use it was too complicated for many people to operate.

I then noticed that the frequencies were all in the audio range. Instead of calling the frequencies 30, 94 or 315 but I can just as accurately call them A#0/Bb0, F#2/Gb2 and D#4/Eb4. I noticed that the power was a lot less than a CD player produced (although the voltage was too low and the current too high). Since there were less than ten frequencies that I normally used I realized that I could record those frequencies on a CD and play them back through a normal CD player. By then using an adapter I could raise the voltage, lower the current. I thereby create an identical pulse to what the original machine produced (with all it's confusing dials). The Brainmax reproduces the effects of the original brain machine as faithfully as a CD player reproduces an orchestra (without having to play all the instruments).

The final results are a easy to operate machine which is pictured in the above photograph.

How is it actually used? If the patient wants to stimulate say their endorphine network, they put the headset on with saline solution wetting down the contacts which touch the temple. They then push the on button, then they go to the track on the CD corresponding to Endorphins (94 Hz) and turn up the volume until they feel a tingling behind their ears.

That is all there is to it. Arguably, using the Brainmax is even simpler than playing a song on a CD player.

From there I developed several other machines and did hundreds or thousands of hours of research. Most of the machines I developed stimulated neurochemical systems but one machine that I developed was unique in that it used multiple frequencies to stimulate specific areas of the brain. Yes, instead of stimulating neurochemical systems it stimulates actual areas of the brain.

Getting back to the Brainmax, Are there any adverse effects to NET? Very few. While using an occasional transient headache may be felt but it rapidly disappears with the removal of the machine. A huge safety margin has been shown to exist.

For instance muscle stimulators such as the Contour use a 100 Hz frequency which is very close to the 94 Hz Endorphine frequency. However, the Contour produces pulses with literally hundreds of times as much current as the Brainmax yet very few ill effects that have ever been attributed to it. If there were any problems with any of these electrical machines then the FDA would have long ago outlawed all muscle stimulators and they would have outlawed those before they would have outlawed NET/CES machines.

What is NET able to do?

Primarily the Brainmax stimulates healing. In almost every situation where healing of the brain is needed the Brainmax will facilitate this. However, it does much more than just this.

One low frequency (30 Hz) corresponds to the neurochemical GABA and is associated with sedation and tranquility. It offsets or reduces withdrawals to the minor tranquilizers and sedatives such as Valium and Barbiturates.

Another low frequency is an endorphin frequency (70 Hz) but it more often corresponds to THC use than opiates. It's been very useful for eliminating the spacy aftereffects of heavy marijuana use.

Around 100 Hz (90-105 Hz) is the primary endorphin frequency. Almost half of all the Americans tested reacted favorably to this frequency with noticeable relaxation and a feeling of well being. Normal day to day stress in our society seems to have suppressed endorphin production in many people.

Higher, in the hundreds of Hz are several mood elevating frequencies. About 1/4 of all Americans react favorably to one of these frequencies (315 Hz). Often even when they deny it is helping them they have a huge grin on their face. Virtually everyone over the age of 55 reacts to this particular frequency and can certainly use it. It speeds up those who are older and have slowed down a bit due to advanced age. It's been called the 'frequency of youth'.It also helps many people loose weight because it can reset the body's weight-set-point towards normal. It's also is useful in quitting cigarette smoking.

2000 Hz is a frequency related to adrenaline. It's mainly used for helping people get off of cocaine and amphetamine. Though most of the other frequencies require several sessions to get a great response often a single session of 20 minutes at 2,000 Hz will worked wonders for those addicted to stimulants. This frequency is also often related to allergies. (Though in asthma the greatest effect was seen using the endorphine frequencies using electrodes placed on the front and back of the chest. A threshold seems to be raised in about half of the asthma patients that were experimented on that highly diminished the number of attacks they had. Little effect was seen on the severity of their attacks.*)

What is next? I am looking into research in using NET with infertility and am looking for partners. One thing we have noticed is that women with spotty periods became normal and two who had not been able to have children became pregnant within six months of using our NET machine. This result was one of things that you look at after wards and say to yourself 'why didn't I realize this would happen'. At the time it was not funny. I was worried that perhaps I should put a warning label for women of childbearing ages. Then I said to myself 'I am looking at this from entirely the wrong point of view'. NET/CES isn't perfect but from what I have seen it will work on +40% of the people. We have noticed that often not all of the effects are immediate. With the machine if often takes several months for a woman's period to return to normal.

This is identical to when a woman goes on or off birth control pills. Then they often need at least three months to recover.

Usually, it takes three months for the body to get back to its natural rhythm and fully recover from the pill.

However, there are some cases where this does not happen and the body remains, for lack of a better word, sterile. Some companies have developed hormonal treatments to correct this, which are meant to kick start the process of ovulation that contraceptive pills have stalled. In this case, it really boils down to little more than hormone levels and knowing which hormones to tweak (and how much) to achieve the desired effect in the body. Forget the three months! Notice that estrogen can easily cause a woman to become permanently sterile (unless drugs are taken to overcome this sterility). So in point of fact a woman going off of birth control pills may never recover from their use. Many things can cause sterility and N.E.T./C.E.S. can restart a woman cycle faster, safer and more fully than any other method that I know of. It releases the natural version of the hormones that the above article refers to as well as a number of others science does not see fit to include. Though it may take several month for them to recover I often immediately notice a significant change at the time the machine is used. Those women who have used a lot of estrogen often get a nervousness and a shrill to their voice. And yes, it almost always has a favorable effect on a men's ability to perform and enjoy. In many studies electrical stimulation has been shown to increase the entire range of hormones and neurotransmitters associated with sex in both men and women. That includes studies of gonadtropins which increase directly the sex hormones to studies about the love hormones such as oxytocin.

I mean if a machine can re balance a persons system in ten days after 5-15 years of heavy drug or alcohol use then it only stands to reason that to do so for a person whose system was not nearly as imbalanced would be easy.

*It seems that endorphine receptors exist in the chest that are highly involved in asthma. This should not come as a surprise to any medical personal because opiates have been used for thousands of years tn the treatment of asthma as shown in these advertisement of 100 years ago. The use of opiates for asthma lead to terrible tragedies. Due to it's highly addictive nature and the suppression of endorphines a person's asthma could only get worse by taking opiates.
